Recover Arrive Become
Recover. Arrive. Become. reflects the idea that healing is more than simply getting through something.
Recover from what has hurt, overwhelmed, frustrated, or held you back.
Arrive more fully in the present-with greater understanding, stability, and connection to yourself leaving behind guilt, shame, anger, betrayal or questions about who you are now.
Become the person you are contining to grow into.
Healing is about moving forward with greater clarity, choice, and self-trust.
I will be beside you on your healing journey.

Does This Sound Like You?
You may be someone who keeps going even when you’re overwhelmed. You handle responsibilities, care for others, and try hard to do the right thing—but underneath it all, you may feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or weighed down by experiences that are difficult to leave behind. You may understand logically why you feel the way you do, yet still struggle to feel differently.
You may also be much harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you care about. Perhaps you’re carrying guilt, shame, regret, grief, or responsibility that has become difficult to put down. You may miss who you used to be, feel uncertain about who you’re becoming, or simply know that you want something in your life to feel different—even if you don’t yet know what that looks like.

Are we a match?
I work well with people who are ready for something to change and willing to keep trying—even when trying feels very difficult.
You may be navigating trauma, anger, grief and loss, guilt, shame, self-criticism, moral injury, anxiety, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, caregiver stress, chronic illness, chronic pain, burnout, or simply feeling overwhelmed.
Healing can also involve losses that aren't always recognized as grief. You may be grieving who you used to be, a career or role that once brought meaning, a sense of safety or trust, intimacy or vulnerability, a relationship or friendship, or a future you once imagined for yourself.
You may also be wrestling with questions about meaning, purpose, identity, or direction. Therapy can give you space to explore those questions, better understand your experiences, and find a path forward that feels authentic to you.
You don't need to fit neatly into a diagnosis or have the right words for what you're experiencing. If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with compassion, work collaboratively with you, and help you find practical ways to move forward at your own pace, we may be a good match.

About me
Welcome
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Christina, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Designation (LISW-S) in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado. I bring nearly 30 years of experience in the helping professions, including 17 years as a therapist and more than 10 years as an independently licensed clinician.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
I provide virtual therapy through telehealth. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I specialize in trauma recovery while recognizing that healing often involves much more than addressing symptoms. It can also mean rebuilding a sense of safety, identity, connection, confidence, and direction.
We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, identify what matters most to you, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful and sustainable change.
I also recognize that evidence-based therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Research gives us valuable tools, but you are more than a treatment model or diagnosis. I draw from proven approaches while adapting our work to your experiences, needs, strengths, culture, circumstances, and goals.
Why I Created Recover Arrive Become
I started Recover Arrive Become because I wanted more flexibility in how I could provide care.
Life is busy. People work, care for families, manage health conditions, juggle responsibilities, and sometimes struggle financially. Getting help shouldn’t have to become one more impossible thing on your to-do list. Private practice allows me to offer greater flexibility in scheduling and payment options while providing care that can be individualized to the person sitting across the screen from me.
But there’s another reason I do this work.
I understand how frightening the effects of trauma can be. I understand how guilt, shame, and regret can feel like chains that keep us tied to the past. I understand how anxiety can affect not only our thoughts but our bodies—our sleep, stomach, tension, concentration, and ability to simply get through the day.
I understand what it feels like to be mentally overloaded and frazzled, when focusing or accomplishing even ordinary things becomes harder than it should be.
And I understand how painful it can be when you genuinely try to do the right thing, make the best decision you can with what you know at the time, and things still don’t turn out the way you intended. After enough of those experiences, it can begin to feel as though no matter what you do, nothing is ever good enough.
I understand. And I care.
My hope is that you leave our work together feeling better equipped than when you arrived—not because life suddenly becomes perfect, but because you understand yourself better, have tools you can actually use, and feel more capable of navigating what comes next.
I became a therapist because I genuinely want to help people build a quality of life that feels right for them and move toward their potential. Therapy is about you, not me.
I won’t pretend to have every answer. If I don’t know something, I’ll help you look for an answer. And if I believe someone else can better meet your needs, I’ll be honest about that and, when I can, help connect you with someone who may be a better fit.
Your journey. Your choices. Your pace.
